I was born on September 18, 1964, in the province of Alajuela, Costa Rica. Throughout my youth I never gave any sign that I liked the painting, I did my studies at the University of Costa Rica where I graduated in agronomy with an emphasis on Plant Breeding. But I've always been a lover of nature and life itself, which has intensified over the years and one day with my mom visits by her cousins, I realized that one of them is a great artist so I sat down with my cousin Isela Vega, who told me that if I liked the painting should try it and from that moment my 35 years I began to paint the landscape typical of my beloved Costa Rica, to start with great difficulty, so I decided to take lessons with the great artist Roger Alajuelense Zamora, and since then my brushes with me in my moments joy and sadness.
